Welcome to STRIDE. These Terms of Service govern your use of the STRIDE web and mobile applications, our ticketing infrastructure, and our physical merchandise store.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing the platform, or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the STRIDE ecosystem.

2. Description of Services

STRIDE is a sports data science platform that provides:

  • Digital tracking and performance analytics for athletes.
  • Club and Federation administration tools.
  • Ticketing and registration infrastructure for Event Organizers.
  • E-commerce facilities for the sale of physical sporting merchandise.

3. Account Registration & Security

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • STRIDE reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our community guidelines or provide fraudulent data.

4. Payments, Fees, and Taxes

  • All transactions are processed securely via our authorized payment gateways (e.g., Paystack).
  • Prices for subscriptions, tickets, and merchandise are subject to change without prior notice.
  • You agree to pay all applicable charges, including VAT and shipping fees where applicable.

5. Event Organizer Responsibilities

If you use STRIDE to host and ticket an event, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for the delivery of the event.
  • You must clearly communicate your own cancellation and refund policy to attendees.
  • In the event of cancellation, you are legally obligated to authorize refunds to ticket holders.
  • STRIDE is not liable for any injuries, damages, or disputes that occur at your physical event.

6. Privacy and Data Security

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, store, and process your telemetry and personal data in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform code, designs, logos (including STRIDE, FanTag, and VELDTSTRIDE), and proprietary algorithms are the exclusive property of ONNEEDLE MANUFACTURING (Pty) Ltd. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute our intellectual property without written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, ONNEEDLE MANUFACTURING (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform, your participation in third-party events ticketed through the platform, or any physical activities you engage in while using our tracking features.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to active users via email or in-app notification.
